Ingredients
– 500 g ground turkey
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 carrots, diced
– 2 cups frozen peas
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 2 cups chicken broth
– 1 cup milk
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch
– 1 sheet puff pastry
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onion and carrots, cooking until they begin to soften.
3. Stir in the ground turkey, cooking until it is browned. Mix in the thyme and frozen peas.
4. Pour in chicken broth and milk. Once combined, sprinkle cornstarch over the mixture and stir until thickened.
5. Transfer the filling to a baking dish and cover with puff pastry. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
