Delicious Turkey Pot Pie Recipe: Comfort Food For Every Occasion

Ingredients

– 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded
– 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
– 1 cup turkey or chicken broth
– 1 cup milk
– 1/2 cup chopped onion
– 1/2 cup chopped celery
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1 pre-made pie crust
– Salt and pepper to taste

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
2. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and celery, cooking until soft.
3. Stir in the turkey, mixed vegetables, broth, milk, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until warmed through.
4. Pour the turkey mixture into the pie crust. Cover it with another pie crust, sealing the edges. Cut a few slits in the top to let steam escape.
5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
