Ingredients
– 300 ml of water
– 300 g of firm tofu
– 1 tbsp of soy sauce
– 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
– 150 g of plain flour
– 1 tsp of baking powder
– 1/2 tsp of salt
– 1/2 tsp of pepper
– 2 tbsp of olive oil
– Optional toppings like sliced avocado or sauce
Method
1. Begin by draining the tofu and pressing it to remove excess moisture.
2. In a bowl, mash the tofu with a fork until it’s smooth.
3. Pour in the water, soy sauce, and vinegar. Mix until combined.
4. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until the batter is smooth.
5. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook spoonfuls of the batter until golden brown on both sides.
