Ingredients
250 ml buttermilk
60 g butter, melted
3 cups plain flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp instant yeast
1 egg
1 tbsp water
Extra flour for dusting
Method
Melt butter in a small bowl and stir in buttermilk.
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
Add buttermilk mixture to the dry ingredients, then beat in the egg.
Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size.
