Ingredients
– 500 g beef steak, cut into cubes
– 1 cup soy sauce
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 cup rice vinegar
– 2 tablespoons sesame oil
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon ground ginger
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– Bamboo skewers, soaked in water
Method
1. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper in a bowl. Mix well to create the marinade.
2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade. Ensure all pieces are coated. Cover and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
3. Preheat the grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
4. Thread the marinated beef onto soaked bamboo skewers. Leave some space between each piece for even cooking.
5. Grill the skewers for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked through and nicely charred.
