Ingredients
– 1 cup plain flour
– 1 tablespoon chai spice mix
– ½ teaspoon baking soda
– ½ teaspoon salt
– ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
– ¾ cup brown sugar
– 1 large egg
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 cup rolled oats
– ½ cup chocolate chips
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with paper.
2. In a bowl, mix the plain flour, chai spice, baking soda, and salt until combined.
3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Stir in the rolled oats and chocolate chips until everything is mixed well.
5. Scoop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking tray. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden. Let cool before serving.
