Ingredients
– 4 chicken breasts
– 250 ml Swiss cheese, shredded
– 1 can (400 g) cream of mushroom soup
– 1 cup milk
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– 2 tbsp butter, melted
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp black pepper
– Salt to taste
– Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Place the chicken breasts in a greased baking dish.
3. In a bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
4. In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs, melted butter, and Swiss cheese. Sprinkle this mixture on top of the chicken and soup.
5. Bake for 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden brown. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
