Ingredients

– 2 medium sweet potatoes
– 2 cups whole wheat flour
– 1 tsp salt
– 1 tsp cumin powder
– 1 tsp chili powder
– 2 tbsp ghee or oil
– Water, as needed
– Extra flour, for dusting
– Ghee or oil, for cooking

Method

1. Boil the sweet potatoes until they become soft. After cooling, peel and mash them in a bowl.
2. Combine the flour, salt, cumin powder, and chili powder in a large mixing bowl. Mix well before adding the mashed sweet potato.
3. Gradually add water and knead the mixture into a soft dough. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
4. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls. Roll each ball into a flat circle on a floured surface using a rolling pin.
5. Heat a pan over medium flame. Place each paratha on the pan and cook, adding ghee or oil, until both sides are golden brown.
