Ingredients
– 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 1 large onion, sliced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 400 ml diced tomatoes (canned)
– 100 ml apple cider vinegar
– 100 ml water
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
Method
1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add the sliced onion and garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes until softened.
3. Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook for another 5 minutes until slightly wilted.
4. Pour in the diced tomatoes, apple cider vinegar, water, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together well.
5. Cover the pot and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
