Vegetable Stir-Fry
Ingredients
2 cups mixed vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, zucchini, carrot)
1 onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups cooked rice
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Method
1. Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and cook until soft.
2. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Add the mixed vegetables and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
5. Serve over the cooked rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
