Ingredients
- 12 large pasta shells
- 500 g ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups spinach, chopped
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for greasing
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Cook the pasta shells in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside to cool.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, half the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, spinach, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Fill each pasta shell with the cheese mixture. Place them in a greased baking dish and cover with marinara sauce. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden. Serve hot.
