Ingredients
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 800 g canned diced tomatoes
- 500 ml beef broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup cooked rice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced bell peppers. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
- Stir in the canned diced tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Mix in the cooked rice and season with salt and pepper before serving.
