Ingredients
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 onion, sliced
– 500 g water spinach (kangkong)
– 1 red chili, chopped (optional)
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
– 1 teaspoon sugar
– 50 ml water
– Fresh lime wedges for serving
Method
1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
2. Add the minced garlic and sliced onion. Cook until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Stir in the water spinach and chopped chili (if using). Cook for 3-4 minutes until the leaves are wilted.
4. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and water. Stir everything together and cook for another 2 minutes.
5. Serve immediately with fresh lime wedges on the side.
