Delicious Spiral Pandan Mantou: A Flavorful Pandan Swirl Recipe

Ingredients

– 250g plain flour
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– 1 teaspoon instant yeast
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 150ml warm water
– 1 tablespoon pandan extract
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– 1 tablespoon desiccated coconut
– 1 tablespoon cornflour
– 1 tablespoon icing sugar

Method

1. Combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a mixing bowl.
2. Pour in warm water and add vegetable oil. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
4. Divide the dough into two equal parts. Mix pandan extract into one half.
5. Roll out both dough portions, layer them on top of each other, and roll into a log. Cut into smaller pieces and steam for 15 minutes.
