Ingredients
200 g dark chocolate, chopped
125 g unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
Method
Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a bowl over simmering water. Stir until smooth and allow it to cool slightly.
In a large mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well until it is smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the bowl and stir until everything is combined.
Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and chili powder to the mixture. Stir until just combined.
Spoon the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10-12 minutes or until firm.
