Delicious South Indian Pepper Rasam Recipe: Milagu Rasam Made Easy

Ingredients
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
2-3 dried red chilies
1 sprig curry leaves
1 medium onion, chopped
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 teaspoon black pepper, ground
4 cups water
Salt to taste

Method
Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat.
Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds, letting them splutter.
Next, toss in dried red chilies and curry leaves, cooking until fragrant.
Stir in the chopped onion, then sauté until golden brown.
Mix in the chopped tomatoes, ground black pepper, water, and salt. Allow it to simmer for about 10 minutes.
