Ingredients
– 3 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 cup warm water
– 2 teaspoons sugar
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 3 tablespoons olive oil
– 1/2 cup active sourdough starter
– 1/4 cup melted butter
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Method
1. Combine warm water and sugar in a large bowl. Mix well until sugar dissolves.
2. Stir in the sourdough starter, followed by olive oil and salt.
3. Gradually add flour to the mixture, kneading until a smooth dough forms.
4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
5. Shape the risen dough into balls, coat with melted butter, and sprinkle herbs on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
