Sourdough Banana Pancakes
Ingredients
– 1 cup ripe bananas (mashed)
– 1 cup sourdough starter
– 2 large eggs
– 1 cup flour
– 1 tsp baking powder
– 1 tsp baking soda
– 1/2 tsp cinnamon
– 1/4 cup milk
– 2 tbsp sugar
– Butter or oil for cooking
Method
1. Begin by mixing the mashed bananas, sourdough starter, and eggs in a bowl until well combined.
2. Stir in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, sugar, and milk. Mix until everything is blended but do not overmix.
3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
4. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden.
5. Continue cooking the pancakes until all the batter is used. Serve warm with toppings of your choice.
