Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 125 ml sour cream
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 50 g melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Optional: nuts or chocolate chips

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add sour cream, sugar, egg, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just blended. If using, fold in nuts or chocolate chips.
