Ingredients
1 loaf of bread, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
60 ml unsalted butter
1 onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, diced
3 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
Method
Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
Sauté the onion and celery until soft.
In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, chicken broth, herbs, salt, pepper, and parsley.
Stir in the sautéed onion and celery mixture.
Transfer everything to the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours.
