Delicious Slow Cooker Italian Pot Roast Recipe For Family Dinners

Ingredients

– 1.5 kg beef chuck roast
– 1 cup beef broth
– 1 cup diced tomatoes
– 1 onion, sliced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 carrots, sliced
– 2 potatoes, diced
– 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon black pepper

Method

1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef roast on all sides until browned, about 4 minutes each side.
2. Place the roast into the slow cooker. Add the broth, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, carrots, and potatoes around the beef.
3. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper on top of the ingredients in the slow cooker.
4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
5. Once finished, serve the pot roast with the vegetables and some of the broth.
