Ingredients
– 1 kg beef chuck, cut into cubes
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 carrots, diced
– 1 can (400 ml) diced tomatoes
– 2 tablespoons tomato paste
– 1 cup beef broth
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon salt
– ½ teaspoon black pepper
Method
1. Start by browning the beef cubes in a pan over medium heat. Cook until they are nicely browned on all sides.
2. Add onion and garlic to the pan. Cook until the onion becomes soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
3. Transfer the beef, onion, and garlic mixture into the slow cooker. Include the carrots, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth.
4. Sprinkle in oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir everything together to combine.
5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
