Ingredients
– 800 g beef mince
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 onion, diced
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 carrot, diced
– 1 celery stalk, diced
– 400 g canned crushed tomatoes
– 1 tablespoon tomato paste
– 300 ml beef broth
– 1 tablespoon dried oregano
Method
1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
2. Add diced onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Cook for about 5 minutes until soft.
3. Stir in the beef mince. Cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
4. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, and oregano. Mix well.
5. Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
