Ingredients

– 500 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 1 cup cornflour
– 1 cup water
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 cup walnuts, chopped
– 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
– 2 green onions, sliced
– Salt and pepper to taste

Method

1. Start by mixing cornflour with water in a bowl to create a smooth batter.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Dip each shrimp into the batter and then carefully place them in the hot oil.
3. Fry the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes per side or until they turn golden brown. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
4. In the same pan, add the chopped walnuts and stir-fry for a minute. Then, mix in honey and soy sauce until well combined.
5. Toss the shrimp back into the pan and stir until they are coated with the sauce. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions for garnish.
