Ingredients
300 g firm fish (like barramundi or snapper)
3 limes, juiced
1 red onion, finely chopped
1 cucumber, diced
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 small bunch of fresh coriander, chopped
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 avocado, diced
Chili flakes to taste
Method
Start by cutting the fish into small cubes and place them in a bowl. Pour lime juice over the fish and mix gently. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes until the fish becomes opaque.
Next, add the chopped red onion, cucumber, red bell pepper, and coriander to the bowl. Stir everything together until well combined.
Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, and chili flakes. Adjust the spice to your liking.
Carefully fold in the diced avocado to avoid mashing it. Make sure all ingredients are combined well.
Serve the ceviche cold in bowls or on tortilla chips. Enjoy your fresh, tasty dish!
