Ingredients
– 4 medium apples
– 1 cup pistachios, chopped
– 1 cup kataifi pastry
– 1 teaspoon cinnamon
– 1 cup silan (date syrup)
– 2 tablespoons butter, melted
– 1/2 cup water
– 1/4 cup brown sugar
– Pinch of salt
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Core the apples and place them in a baking dish.
3. In a bowl, mix chopped pistachios, kataifi pastry, melted butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt.
4. Stuff the mixture into the cored apples.
5. Pour water and silan over the apples, then bake for 30 minutes or until tender.
