Ingredients
– 4 firm apples
– ½ cup pistachios, chopped
– ½ cup kataifi pastry
– ½ cup silan (date syrup)
– 2 tablespoons butter, melted
– ½ teaspoon cinnamon
– ¼ cup water
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– ½ teaspoon salt
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2. Core the apples and place them in a baking dish.
3. Mix pistachios, kataifi, silan, melted butter, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla, and salt together in a bowl.
4. Stuff the apple cores with this mixture and pour water into the baking dish.
5. Bake for about 30-35 minutes until the apples are tender.
