Ingredients
– 450 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 2 tablespoons oil
– 1 cup onion, chopped
– 1 cup bell pepper, chopped
– 1 cup celery, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 cups chicken broth
– 2 tablespoons flour
– 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
– 2 cups cooked rice
Method
1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add the onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Cook until softened for about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in the flour and Cajun seasoning, cooking for 1 minute more.
4. Gradually add the chicken broth while stirring. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Add the shrimp to the pot and cook until they turn pink, about 5 minutes. Serve over cooked rice.
