Ingredients

– 500 g scallops
– 2 tablespoons oil
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Method

1. Rinse the scallops under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add salt and black pepper to the scallops.
3. Once the skillet is hot, place scallops in it. Sear for about 2 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
4. Lower the heat. Add butter and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
5. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle parsley before serving.
