Ingredients
– 8 slices of bread
– 4 large eggs
– 250 ml milk
– 1 tsp salt
– 1 tsp pepper
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp dried herbs (like basil or oregano)
– 2 tbsp butter
– 1 cup grated cheese
– Fresh parsley for garnish
Method
1. Begin by whisking together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried herbs in a bowl.
2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add butter to melt.
3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
4. Cook the soaked bread slices in the hot pan until they are golden brown on each side, about 3-4 minutes per side.
5. Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the toast during the last minute of cooking. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
