Ingredients
– 250g of plain flour
– 200g of butter, softened
– 150g of sugar
– 1 large egg
– 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
– 1 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 1/2 teaspoon of salt
– 100g of chocolate chips
– 100g of nuts, chopped
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a pie dish with butter or line it with baking paper.
2. Mix the softened butter and sugar in a bowl until creamy. Use an electric mixer if you have one.
3. Add in the egg, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt. Stir until well combined.
4. Gradually add the flour and mix until a dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
5. Spread the dough evenly in the prepared pie dish and bake for about 30 minutes. Check with a toothpick to see if it comes out clean.
