Ingredients
– 450 g pork sausage meat
– 60 g butter
– 1/4 cup plain flour
– 500 ml milk
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp garlic powder
– 1/4 tsp onion powder
– 1/4 tsp dried thyme
Method
1. Cook the sausage meat in a large pan over medium heat. Break it into smaller pieces as it cooks.
2. Once browned, add butter to the pan and let it melt.
3. Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage and stir for about a minute until blended.
4. Gradually pour in the milk while stirring until the gravy thickens.
5. Season with pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme. Stir well before serving.
