Ingredients
– 120 g unsalted butter
– 200 g brown sugar
– 100 g white sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 2 large eggs
– 300 g plain flour
– 1 tsp baking soda
– 1 tsp salt
– 200 g chocolate chips
– Flaky sea salt for topping
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Mix the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
3. Add the vanilla and eggs, mixing until everything is well combined.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients. Stir until no dry flour remains, then fold in the chocolate chips.
5. Scoop out the cookie dough and place it on the prepared tray, leaving space between each cookie. Sprinkle a little flaky sea salt on top. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
