Delicious Salted Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
170 g unsalted butter
200 g brown sugar
100 g granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
300 g plain flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
200 g chocolate chunks

Method
1. Begin by browning the butter in a pot over medium heat. Stir constantly until it gets a nutty aroma and turns a golden brown. Remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.
2. Combine the brown sugar and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl. Add the warm butter, egg, and vanilla extract, then mix well until smooth.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the plain flour, baking soda, and sea salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
4. Fold in the chocolate chunks until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
5. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake at 180°C for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are golden.
