Ingredients
– 400g firm tofu
– 2 tablespoons cornflour
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 2 green onions, sliced
– 1 red chili, chopped (optional)
– 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
– 1 tablespoon vinegar
Method
1. Begin by draining the tofu and pressing it to remove excess water. Cut it into small cubes.
2. Toss the tofu cubes in cornflour, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the tofu in a single layer and cook until golden brown on all sides.
4. Stir in the soy sauce, green onions, and red chili (if using). Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and drizzle with vinegar before serving.
