Ingredients
– 1 sheet of puff pastry
– 200g salami, sliced
– 100g cream cheese
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1 small onion, diced
– 1 clove garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
– 1 teaspoon mustard
– Salt and pepper to taste
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, mustard, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface. Spread the cream cheese mixture in the center, then layer the salami on top.
5. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges. Brush with beaten egg and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
