Roasted Turkey Breast Recipe
Ingredients
1.5 kg turkey breast, bone-in
60 ml olive oil
3 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
500 ml chicken broth
300 g fresh vegetables (carrots, potatoes, or your choice)
Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 190°C.
2. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Rub olive oil onto the surface, then season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
3. Place the seasoned turkey breast in a roasting pan. Pour the chicken broth into the pan around the turkey. Arrange your fresh vegetables around it.
4. Roast in the oven for about 90 minutes, basting occasionally with the broth. The turkey is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 75°C.
5. Let the turkey rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs if you like.
