Ingredients
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 400 ml coconut milk
- 200 ml water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Optional: toasted coconut flakes
- Optional: lime wedges
Method
- Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Combine the rice, coconut milk, and water in your rice cooker.
- Add sugar and salt to the mixture, then stir gently.
- Start the rice cooker and let it cook until it’s finished.
- Once done, fluff the rice with a fork and stir in lime juice. Garnish with cilantro and add coconut flakes or lime wedges if desired.
