Ingredients

– 2 cups whole wheat flour

– 3/4 cup water
– 1 cup grated coconut
– 2 green chilies, chopped
– 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
– 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

Method

1. Combine whole wheat flour, salt, sugar, and cumin seeds in a large mixing bowl.
2. Add oil and mix well until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Gradually pour in water while kneading to form a soft, smooth dough. Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
4. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls. Roll each ball into a thin circle on a floured surface.
5. Mix grated coconut, green chilies, coriander leaves, and turmeric powder in a bowl. Place a little filling in the center of each rolled dough circle. Fold over and seal. Cook on a hot pan until golden brown on both sides, brushing with a little oil.
