Ingredients
– 425 g fresh ravioli
– 100 g butter
– 10 fresh sage leaves
– 50 g grated parmesan cheese
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
– 1 clove garlic, minced
– 1 cup water (for boiling ravioli)
– Extra parmesan for serving (optional)
– Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Method
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the ravioli according to the package instructions, usually about 3-5 minutes.
2. While the ravioli is cooking, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sage leaves and minced garlic to the pan. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the butter turns golden and the sage is crispy.
4. Once the ravioli is ready, carefully drain it and toss it in the skillet with the sage butter. Stir to coat the pasta evenly.
5. Serve immediately, topping with grated parmesan, salt, pepper, and basil if desired.
