Ragi Oatmeal Porridge Recipe
Ingredients
– 1 cup ragi flour
– 1 cup rolled oats
– 1/4 cup jaggery (or brown sugar)
– 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
– 4 cups water
– 1 cup milk (or any milk alternative)
– 1/2 cup chopped fruits (like bananas, apples or berries)
– A pinch of salt
– Nuts for garnish (optional)
– 1 tbsp ghee (or butter)
Method
1. Mix the ragi flour, oats, and salt in a large bowl.
2. Boil water in a pot, then add the dry mixture to the boiling water.
3. Stir continuously to avoid lumps and cook for about 5-7 minutes until it thickens.
4. Add jaggery and cardamom powder to the porridge, mixing until everything is combined.
5. Finally, serve the porridge hot, topped with milk and your choice of fruits and nuts.
