Ingredients
– 500 g snake gourd, chopped
– 2 tbsp oil
– 1 tsp mustard seeds
– 1 tsp urad dal
– 1 tsp chana dal
– 2-3 green chilies, slit
– 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
– 1/2 cup grated coconut
– Salt to taste
– 2 sprigs of curry leaves
Method
1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add mustard seeds and wait until they splutter.
3. Toss in urad dal, chana dal, green chilies, and curry leaves. Stir until golden.
4. Mix in the chopped snake gourd, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until soft, about 10 minutes.
5. Add grated coconut and stir well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
