Ingredients
- 150 g prosciutto (thinly sliced)
- 250 g fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
- 12 fresh basil leaves
- 240 ml balsamic glaze
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- Toothpicks (for serving)
- Optional: salad leaves (for serving)
- Optional: cherry tomatoes (for decoration)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Wrap each mozzarella ball with a slice of prosciutto and secure with a toothpick.
- Arrange the wrapped mozzarella on a baking tray and drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes until the prosciutto is crispy.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the bites and serve warm with basil leaves and optional salad leaves or cherry tomatoes.
