Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons of fresh coriander, chopped
- 1 green chili, chopped (optional)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Method
- Boil the cubed potatoes until they are soft, then drain and set aside.
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds to the hot oil.
- When the seeds start to crackle, add the turmeric and chili powder. Stir for a few seconds.
- Now add the boiled potatoes and mix well. Season with salt and stir to coat evenly.
- Finally, add the coriander, green chili, and lemon juice. Mix again and serve warm.
