Method
1. Start by cooking the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain it once done.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
3. Stir in chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion softens.
4. Add diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and salt. Simmer for about 10 minutes until everything is well combined.
5. Mix the cooked pasta with the meat sauce and top with shredded cheese. Cook until the cheese melts. Garnish with fresh basil.
