Ingredients
– 60 ml whisky
– 30 ml fresh lemon juice
– 60 ml persimmon puree
– 15 ml simple syrup
– 2 dashes aromatic bitters
– Ice cubes
– Lemon twist (for garnish)
– Cinnamon sprinkle (optional)
Method
1. Start by making persimmon puree. Peel and chop ripe persimmons, then blend until smooth.
2. Take a shaker and combine the whisky, lemon juice, persimmon puree, simple syrup, and bitters.
3. Add ice cubes to the shaker. Shake well for about 15 seconds.
4. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
5. Garnish the drink with a lemon twist and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
