Ingredients
500 g potatoes, peeled and diced
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 tablespoons roasted peanuts, crushed
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped
Method
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Include cumin seeds and wait for them to darken slightly.
Mix in the potatoes, turmeric, chili powder, salt, peanuts, and sesame seeds. Stir well to combine.
Cook until potatoes are tender, then garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
