Ingredients
– 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 sheet ready-made pie crust
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1 tablespoon milk
– 1 tablespoon butter, diced
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
2. Combine sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, salt, and vanilla in a bowl. Stir until mixed well.
3. Roll out the pie crust onto a baking sheet. Spread the peach mixture in the center, leaving a border around the edges.
4. Fold the edges of the pie crust over the peaches. Brush the crust with the beaten egg mixed with milk.
5. Sprinkle the diced butter over the filling. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
