Ingredients
450 g ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
8 slices of rye or sourdough bread
4 slices of cheese
60 ml butter
Pickles, for serving
Method
Heat a pan over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion until it becomes soft and translucent.
Add the ground beef, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned.
On a separate pan, melt some butter over medium heat. Place 4 slices of bread in the pan.
Top each slice of bread with cooked beef, a slice of cheese, and another slice of bread. Grill until golden brown, then flip to cook the other side.
Serve with pickles on the side.
