Ingredients
- 400 g spinach (fresh or frozen)
- 200 g paneer (cubed)
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 green chilies (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt (to taste)
Method
- Wash the spinach thoroughly. If using fresh spinach, boil it for 2-3 minutes, then blend it into a smooth paste.
- Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and allow them to sizzle for a few seconds.
- Stir in the chopped onion and cook until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, cooking for another minute.
- Mix in turmeric, salt, and garam masala. Then, add the spinach paste. Cook for about 5 minutes on low heat.
- Gently add the paneer cubes and cook for an additional 2 minutes, ensuring the paneer is well coated with the spinach mixture.
